A "snowy" date night with friends.

So the Saturday before Christmas, we had planned (for over a month!!!) to go out with our friends Johnny and Danielle. Well, considering there was a load of snow and ice on the roads everywhere (except where they live) our plans had to change slightly. However, we still got to go out so that was fun!

We decided to meet them in Salem for dinner and coffee as opposed to meeting in Portland which was the original plan. We ate at the Roadhouse Grill and talked and laughed - well Danielle and I talked and laughed while Johnny spent a good portion of the beginning of dinner outside in the freezing cold putting chains on their car! We finally "guilted" Scott into going outside to help him - can you believe Scott didn't want to go out cuz' he didn't have a hat!!! We had to give him a big teasing about not getting his hair messed up! (really it was cuz he didn't want to get wet and then get sick)

After that, we decided to go for a quick coffee at Starbucks. Considering it was only about 8:00 we figured we'd find one no prob..... however, we didn't factor in the snow! Every Starbucks we went to was closed because of "inclement weather"! Imagine the nerve!!! :) So we settled for Cinnabon at the Salem mall where we all indulged in too fattening cinnamon rolls and bad coffee!

Overall, we had a great time and it was so fun spending some time with them! Although Natalee was very disappointed because August wasn't there. But we had fun anyway - and I promised Danielle I wouldn't post any "yucky" pictures so hopefully these are all ok with her!!!
