Because the weather is so goofy up here, it's almost better to put your Christmas lights up early and just not turn them on till you're ready, so Scott started putting lights on the house up about 3 weeks ago to take advantage of the "nicer" weather. Well, he finally finished today, after 2 hours of trying to figure out how to get everything plugged in without blowing the GFI's in the garage every 5 minutes, setting up 3 very cumbersome deer and putting the finishing touches on all the lights. So of course, here are some pictures! You can't hear it, but he had this cool idea of buying an "outside" speaker and while I was in Arizona, he hooked it up to our stereo system and now we can play Christmas music outside! He did a great job! Now I just have to find some strings of lights to be able to light up our "inside" Christmas tree once we get it! (Thank goodness for after Christmas Clearance sales so I can get some more strings!)
Pretty nice if you ask me.

o my gosh! Last night I glanced at your blog but didn't have time to read it. So I assumed those pictures were IDEAS for how you wanted to decorate your house... NOT YOUR ACTUAL HOUSE! Wow! You guys are seriously on top of things! That's insane! Its' so cute and what a GREAT idea to do lights way ahead of time while it's not so stinkin cold (or dark!) I'm so excited for you guys to have a Christmas where August GETS IT. I'm already loving how much Natalee gets excited in the stores over the Christmas decorations... even tho she won't really quite get it this year...
