Well, I would love that this post be about the baby Jesus, but that is for another day. Today - this post will be about my little 3 year old who was in his first Christmas Play last night at church. And, he was............THE STAR.
Can't believe he's 3 - isn't he handsome?
Not like literally, the star (you know the star of Bethlehem, etc.) but THE STAR of the play. Now, there was some kids who really worked super hard to learn some pretty tough lines and some beautiful solos. Unfortunately...........

MY 3 year old upstaged them and I wasn't sure during the play if I should make him stop or just let it be. The "Christmas Play helper" in me wanted to make him stop, but me being the mom probably would have created a huge ruckus, and then the "mom" in me was just laughing along with everyone else because he was absolutely hysterical!
How could you not smile at this exuberance!
I guess the cutest part was that he and Taylor knew all the words to all the songs which is why Mrs. C. let them stand up there the whole play, so while some of the older kids are looking around like "uuhhhhhhh what are the words??", he and Taylor were just singing away! The dancing and hopping didn't help with the cuteness factor (don't ask me where he learned to dance like he was....he kept swinging his arms back and forth like an old time tap dancer.)
I LOVE this picture because you can just see what a great time he was having! (And of course, Taylor just cracks me up because I think she stood like this the entire play!!!! :))
I'm glad that I got a couple of pictures BEFORE the play because during the course of the play he wen't from "put together" to a little "disheveled" by the end of it.
And what post would not be complete without a cute picture of Princess Grace.

That was great!!!! I remember when Caden, in his donkey costume, was moving his hands like he was directing the Christmas play! Raigan was taking care of Baby Jesus(in the manger) during her preformance!! **That is their dad's side of the family!** I LOVE IT! Those are absolutely the best memories! ~~ Side note: I loved your comment about Leah and Raigan's picture! hehehe

He is absolutely adorable! What a cutie - you should be so proud. When my four year old was three there is no way he would have done all that acting! Your son is a natural!
