Christmas 2009 - Part 1

Christmas, this year, came in two parts for us. We planned on going to Arizona to visit my family this year (the first time we've had "real" Christmas with my family) so we decided to do our own Christmas, with Aunty Kelly, early so we wouldn't have to take all of the gifts down there with us. Good thing cuz we'd have had to pay for a trillion extra bags! So the Thursday before Christmas, we all went to eat at a local restaurant, then Aunty Kelly picked up Cold Stone ice cream and we all dug in!

I lied - there is a picture of Scott - see his blue jeans there in the corner??? :O)

We had a fun time opening presents with the kids. Of course, Grace was just more interested in the paper and ribbons, so we humored her and just let her play. But August was having a blast just opening stuff and then of course wanting to play with all of it! He got some fun toys and some clothes, a 2 new games for his Leapster and a cool Lighting McQueen headboard for his bed. I'll have to post pictures of it when Scott puts it together.

So here's a few pictures of us. Unfortuntely there are no pictures of Scott as he was the present hander-outer, picture taker and videographer. He did a great job by the way!!!
