Grace

Well, as they say, "they grow like weeds" and that is true - even more so for baby #2 because you're a little more occupied with baby #1 who is 2 1/2! She is now almost 6 months old (the 14th she'll be 6mo.) and it's amazing once again the things they start doing. I know from here on out it's change after change after change (not only diapers!).

Bless You!

She's a very happy little girl!
She is sitting up pretty much all by herself. I can leave her for quite a length of time with a few pillows strategically placed and some toys in front of her and she'll be happy as a clam. She rolls from back to tummy, although the first time she rolled over it was from tummy to back and that was in the end of June. She gets a little frustrated cuz now she can't figure out how to go from tummy to back, so she just lays there for a while and then starts crying which makes the figuring out process come to a halt.
She LOVES the dogs! I remember August just loving to watch them and actually "Daisey" was his first word, so we'll see what this one does. She loves being outside. I'm so thankful for a couple of shade trees in our yard cuz I can put her on a blanket out there under the shade and August and I can hang out or play, or whatever. She loves watching the trees and the dogs.
She also is in love with her brother! We'll see how long that lasts, but she just talks and talks to him, steals his blanket, pulls his hair and just in general bothers him! I think it's adorable right now of course, but I'm sure there will come a day when it's not too funny!
Our little babies! (August 2 1/2, Grace 5 mths)
She started eating baby food now so it's interesting to see what she likes and how she likes it. I figured out she likes her rice cereal warm instead of just room temperature (who knew?!). I just tried some juice in a cup the other day and she loves that too. And she doesn't do too bad with the cup either.
And finally, she has two of her bottom teeth - she's desperately trying to keep up with her cousin Madi in that department, but Madi's got her beat by a long shot - I think she's already got about 8 teeth!
So enjoy the pictures and enjoy the updates. More "event" style posts to come!

Look at all that hair!!!
