And I am Oh So Glad!!! I've been waiting for spring to get here this year because I am so very tired of winter - and it seems to have dragged on and on this year! I think what I love about spring is the newness of life and going from no sun to sun almost all the time. You really learn to appreciate spring here in Oregon. When I lived in Prescott, I used to love spring - I loved looking from the window of our office lunchroom to the Courthouse Square with all the trees blooming and people out walking. It was one of my favorite past-times while I was eating my lunch. But, I've learned to REALLY appreciate it up here, because we don't get to see the sun as much during the winter (and boy do I miss it!) I love being able to walk in the yard - in the grass mind you - and look at all the beautiful flowers that are just getting ready to bloom. I have this whole passle of iris' this year - last year the slugs got them so they didn't bloom well. I have peony bush (I LOVE PEONIES!!!) that is just about to bloom, and I have some lilys that will be blooming in about 2 weeks. I love it!
Anyway - we were out enjoying the sun last week, well sort of - it was overcast, but not raining and it was sort of warm, (hence the reason Grace has no hat on and a blanket wrapped around her). I think there will be many days we will be spending outside this summer! Just bought a little pool for August and I can't wait to set it up for him, but it's still too cold. Oh well - the time will come in the middle of the summer where I will be saying "Can it get any cooler??" (Just kidding! - I NEVER say that up here - I enjoy every hot day I can get!)

Adorable pix! She looks so "ethnic" in those pictures. Is that socially appropriate? I don' tknow what the word would be but she's super super cute! Just makes me want to kiss her!
i love Grace's little hand in the bottom corner of August's sneeze photo! We are so happy that spring is here, too...we had a cold day today, but the forecast is for sunny skies this weekend. Soak it up, it's such a great time of year!
Oh and i love peonies, too - didn't discover them till i moved here, and they are wonderful.

I'm glad you're getting some nice weather. After living back in Tempe for 3 years I also am LOVING the cool beautiful spring days here in OK, but I am also very ready for them to come because it's cold for so much longer over here. Like you, about mid summer I'll be wishing for cooler days again, but now I'm ready for some heat.
