She said it!

Funny how much she's grown and it just seems like yesterday she was so tiny. At any rate - at 15 months, she is now starting to really put some words out there and here are just a few. Most of what she says is innate rambling like all babies, but every once in a while, I catch something that is not just rambling. Here are a few:

*August - (of course)

*Momma

*Dadda

*Daisey (Daidee)

*dog

*cat

*cup - (until yesterday this was "ca ca ca ca" all in a row until I told her yesterday - do you want your cuP, emphasizing the P and she said "CUP" and has since then! Yeah. It was amazing to watch her figure it out!)

*side - (meaning outside)

*that's funny - (really no kidding - the other night we're sitting at the table with friends all laughing about something and she jumps in laughing and says - That's funny!....more than one time!)

*swing

*up

*down

*owwiee

*cracker (usually ca-ca....I know I know! You don't have to say it!)

*sock (usually sah)
*shoe

......and drumroll please - her first phrase........

"momma, side now". It took me a minute to figure out she was actually saying something to me I could understand!

Wow - now that I'm looking over the list - she says a whole lot more than I thought! Crazy. Anyway- she has her own little personality and she is just so fun to have around. I love watching her and August play together - when he's not tormenting her and she's not screaming at him!!! :)

And one of these days - I'm going to get it on video - she does the most hysterical thing when I ask her if she wants a spanking and she says no, but it's HOW she says it that is so funny. So maybe I'll be able to catch it for you and then post it!
