Portland Children's Museum

Portland has a really cool Children's Museum that I think I've posted about before. At any rate - the company Scott works for is a sponsor for the Museum and so in October, they opened a new "display" as they call it - the last display they had (and I posted about it too) was Bob the Builder. This new display was Clifford the Big Red Dog. The night before they opened the display, they invited employees of the sponsoring companys to come "play" for free. Boy did we jump on the chance! I was able to take two of the McMillan girls with us and met Dan there for some fun times! August was a little tired by the end of it, but he sure had a great time! What an awesome place and thank you Scott's company for letting us go!!!!

Watching the show.

Having fun!

He loved this "load the bones into the dish" game.

Grace was having fun too.

Give me that camera!

She loved this water display!

Love that smile!

I was desperately trying to get a "cool" picture here because that's August on the other side of the water screen, but alas - I'm not a great picture taker so here it is!

August loves to be the Ambulance driver.

This picture was where I got the clue that August was STARVING! This area is a little "grocery store" where you can "buy" food. He and I were waiting to "eat" the food he bought and when he realized it was only play food - he almost started crying!!! Guess it's time to go and eat some dinner!
