Can't believe this was clear back in September, but alas - you know how behind I am, so here goes!
Every year we have a Pioneer Rally and all the pastors and some church members from the Northwest come for a 3 day "mini conference". Chris and Vicki Wendt have been in Idaho for about 14(?) years and always come. Now for those of you who don't know - The Wendts and my family go WAY back - like - I wasn't even born yet, way back. Their 3 kids and me and my brothers "grew up" together. We all spent days playing, having slumber parties, taking trips, getting in trouble, etc., etc., together. So any time we can get together with any of them, it's such a great time! Any time they come down here we try to get together for lunch or dinner and so we were able to snag them for a lunch on Friday and sat and talked for about 2 1/2 hours. I must say poor August was really doing well after about the first hour. And Grace fell asleep in Chris' lap. So cute because that's the first time we've ever seen her do that!
We had a really nice time and look forward to lots more times to get together with them!!!

Steph, I like the name of the post "OLD FRIENDS" ~ Does that mean THEY are "OLD" or that they've been friends for a long time!?!?!?! hehehe! I can say that because they are my family!
