So Nick got the meat processed and he gave us some. We brought some home and it was DELICIOUS - you almost couldn't even tell it was bear. For our last biblestudy, we were having a BBQ and Nick promised to cook some bear. Here's where my kids comes in.

August LOVES "Uncle" Nick and "Aunty" Doreen. So for the following two weeks he kept telling us we had to go to Uncle Nicks and eat some "hamagers" and some bear. (Yes dad -we're training him right! Maybe he'll hunt with you some day!) Of course we eventually did go over there, but not without his constant reminder that we had to go. So here are some great pictures from that night! It was a fun night and thank goodness for Destiny and Rainey and Moriah for putting up/watching our two year old!!!! He had a blast!

I was trying to catch him - he and their dog Alsy(spelling??) were lying on the ground together and she was playing with him - but she heard some food getting dropped in the other room and ran!

I was trying to be creative with my pictures - this one turned out ok of the girls (except I cut off Rainey's head!)
There was a tractor across the field "working" and August was enthralled!
