Ok so I'll admit that I am horrible at journaling, writing letters, and keeping people up to date on a regular basis. So I am not guaranteeing that this blog spot will be up to date or keep going, but I'm going to give it a try. I will not guarantee that there will always be up to date pictures either, cuz I'm horrible at loading them on to my computer, but I will give it a shot!
August and I are just hanging out this morning - he listening to his new Bob the Builder CD Scott and I bought him at the Portland Children's Museum and I am setting up this blog site. I think it's going to be a park day because it's so beautiful for a fall day in Oregon, I don't want to miss out on ANY of the sun that's out there!
I think that I will be doing some past history just because there are some cute pictures for it, but I won't be as good as my friend Danielle who went all the way back to day one with her little sweetie Natalie!
I think the funniest part of my days are when August makes me laugh and then laughs because he knows he made me laugh. Crazy I know, but it's so funny! We are in the midst of potty training and I must say I'm amazed at how well he has done! He is completely dry during the days (except for the occasional wet nap time which are few and far between) and we're still working on night time. I'm not quite sure what to do with that yet, but we're trying to cut out all the drinks for him after about 7:00, although it's a little hard when all he's asking for is water, water, water Mom!!! I guess we'll just keep working at it considering he's not quite 2 yet. I'm sure he'll get it sooner or later. Until then, it's "yucky" diapers (as I call them) at night.
