.....time to update. As I'm sure all of you are saying! I am just glad to say that I'm not the only one who has been a little lax in my posting albeit I don't ever think I could out-do Mrs.Rice - how does she do it??? Just kidding Patti! We all just know you are super woman! Ha! Ok - on to my post - yes I've been lax and yes I haven't posted for over two months but guess what??? Most of you who read this don't live here so you can't shoot me!!!!
ok - so a little of what's been going on since my last post.......hmmmm......well - Fall.
And right now that's all I can say about it.....I'm not ready for it.
And what else.....Scott's been on a couple of work trips out of state - loving that......I've started some grand ol' crazy workouts that kick my butt. And now - the part you've waited for? My darling kiddies. Oh I love my little kiddies. Although we are going through some funny times because August is so stinkin smart - I have to run ALL the time just to keep ahead of him. He will be 4 in two weeks...........4........can you imagine? Yep time flies. He is really into learning his letters - he is liking finding them in the books we read, his current craze is Monster Trucks - he lives, eats, breaths monster trucks - and he's all about dinosaur books. Well - really? ANY book this kids can get his hands on he devours. Will be amazed when he can actually read because he potentially will zoom through them! He is a PRO on his bike.......I don't think I posted about it but on one of Scotts out of town trips I decided to give something a try and can you believe? It worked - I took the training wheels off is bike and within about 15 minutes this kid was tottering his way down the sidewalk! It took him the next couple of days to get the feel of it and to learn to stop and start by himself, but I was shocked. I KNOW it was because he's learned to balance on his scooter already. So he already talks about going off the ramp one of the kids down the street has! Crazy kid!
Grace is my crazy little "tough chick" as Jodi Cedergreen loving calls her. And she is - she's so girly, but you can tell she is not going to let ANYTHING get past her. She is a year and a half already - crazy crazy......She has gone swiftly through the baby stage right into the young toddler stage and boy I can't believe it! She talks all the time now. Her current things? When I cough she says - "bless you Mommy" - oooohhhhh melt my heart!!!!! She will repeatedly call August " Augus, Augus, Augus, Augus, Augus....." and so on until he goes "What Grace?" in that annoyed type of way and she will say "aplane" or "tuck" or "kitty" or some such other thing and he just looks at her........oh she will be really good for August to have around! Ha Ha! She loves to play hide and seek. She will put her blanket over her head and walk around - suprisingly well considering she can't see and go "mommy, momma, mom!! mom!!" until I notice and start to play the game with her! Currently (as in like right at this very moment when she is supposed to be sleeping!) she is standing in her crib - starting from one end she says "set, GO" and then runs to the other end and falls down and then starts all over again. Oh lord she's so funny!
And that's just a short snippet of what we've been up to. Other things include a short get away to Kahneeta which was way a blast! A week at my parents house in Arizona. Lots of yard cleaning. A pumpkin patch visit. A night out with Johnny and Danielle! A night out to see the Gaithers (oh my goodness it was SOOOOO good!) And lots of other mundane things that only my faithful followers would tell me is exciting!!! At any rate - I will get pictures up soon! I promise!!!!
love to all!

Did I hear "big race"??? I think you should challenge Sarah to do the same distance on the treadmill and see who wins.
Look at me, instigating something I'd rather not do myself..yet. LOL
