Now that the sun has finally decided to shine here in Oregon and bring us a REAL summer, we have been spending A LOT of time outside! As mentioned before, this is the first time since living in the Northwest that I actually have a tan worth noting. Jeez you would think it wouldn't take 9 years, but man it feels good to be brown for a few months (of course now that I'm getting older I'm starting to try and contemplate the whole wrinkles/brown spots on your face/old looking skin part of being in the sun........but for now I'm just enjoying getting my daily dose of Vitamin D.) too bad you can't package sun and bring it out in like......January!!!
Ok - I digress! We have this really cool park really close to our house and it has the coolest play structure and water fountain around! There are also lots of picnic tables and grass to lounge on. Just a really cool park. so I've been trying to take the kids there at least once a week - maybe twice. (We play A LOT in the backyard - it is my salvation on some days!) At any rate - here are some fun pictures of one day we went.....I was taking pictures thinking "I'll just take pictures of all the things the kids are doing today and then post about it!" (of course that was over a month ago, but that's a side note right?)

And finally some more running. I just had to laugh at all these pictures because as I'm taking all of these random shots of August just roaming and going crazy, there sat Grace, content to swing FOR A HALF AN HOUR!!!! I was VERY tired of the swing after that day I can say, but hey - at least she had fun!!!
