Moments like these are few and far between these days. Most of our days are filled with little kid chatter, a few (too many) screeches and some crying thrown in there. But how dull would my life be without all of that? I would have to live in an office of some sorts all day with nothing but adult chatter (which is welcome, but sometimes boring after a while), office politics and all that goes along with having a regular job. I admit some days I envy Scott as he drives away in peace and quiet, but I remember the days he comes home frustrated because instead of dealing with a three year old and a one year old, he's dealing with 20 somethings through 60 something year olds who ACT like three and one year olds and unfortunately you can't send them to bed or give them a little time out or swat a behind for sassiness. So on those days I don't envy him and gladly welcome the somewhat crazy days of being a stay at home mom to my two little somethings!!

I'm totally with you on taking SAHM life over working and dealing with childlike adults anyday.
So, I'm wondering... would you and Scott have looked like August and Grace if you'd would've known each other as kids?!?!? Just kidding.
