Ho Hum.....

And the days go by just like that although it seems like it was just December???? And here we are February 1! Wow.
Not a whole lot has been going on, but we've just been plugging away - doing little house projects, watching our kids grow and getting ready to say goodbye to our Pastor and his wife. Weird - lots of little things that add up to full days.
At any rate - I've seriously been lacking in the blogging category - oh mind you I love to blog stalk, but I haven't spent so much time stalking my own blog!!!
So here are a couple of pictures from our visit in Hawaii. Scott's parents took us "site seeing" - sort of - it's a nice little inlet/river/creek (not really sure what you would call it?????) but it sure is beautiful - and it's about 5 minutes from their house!!!! And of course we had to get in the traditional Malasadas with fabulous coffee. For those of you who have NOT had a malasada - lets just say you are TOTALLY missing out! Its like a donut, but ooooo so good.
During the rainy season they close this off because it completely floods - can you imagine?

August and Grandma Wegner - look at all that green!!!
Me and the princess enjoying the sun!

Grandpa and Grandma Wegner with the kids.
Eating Malasadas - I might have had a whole one......
We did lots of hanging out and then on Thursday, we drove to a beautiful hotel just outside of Kona (the name is just slipping me right now - I'll remember it as soon as I'm done blogging I'm sure!). We stayed there the last time we were in Hawaii and they have a really cool pool with a slide and a sand area for the kids - it's amazing. August did pretty well - I kept trying to get him to jump in - we were sort of getting there, but he was getting cold (imagine that - did you ever think you can get cold in Hawaii??) and it was getting close to nap time. We had a great time there - went to a ritzy shopping center and of course didn't buy anything!
Shaka in the pool?
Me and the A-man
Isn't she pretty?
Us again.

She LOVES the water.
Then we headed back to Scott's parents house for the remainder of the weekend until it was time to go home. We had some really nice dinners with his Aunty and Grandma and Uncle Wayne and family and then it was time for us to say goodbye - a week goes REALLY fast - have you noticed?

Sorry for the red eye - she had just woken up and I got some really cool sepia pictures of her and Scott - unfortunately I can't post them because Scott is shirtless too and we can't have any of that now can we???? :)
Scott, August, Grace and his Grandma - she's 92!!!

Great - Grandma Yonemori
Aunty Eva and the kids.

And again!

Time to go home - they loved watching the guys work while we were waiting in Honolulu.

We so appreciate Scott's parents and Aunty and Grandma and Uncle Alan/Aunty Louise and Uncle Wayne/Aunty Young Hee for making our trip so wonderful. We really had a great time and I think this may be something August might remember in the future (I guess we'll see - he's at the age where he could remember). Thank you again everyone!!!!

sweet pictures! I miss you when you're stalking! (: Dont worry about Scott's shirtless pix.. I'm going to post the funniest video of Shy but Johnny's whole leg is in the video... up to above his knee... he was lounging in his boxers (something he has no qualms about) so I guess he's leg's just going to have to be in it! Looks like a wonderful time. So, maybe if the Navy puts us at Pearl Harbor you can come visit us while your in the "area"?? LOL

My kids really want to go live in Hawaii. They think all you do is surf and play at the beach if you live there. :)
