I think this is a first for my blog my fellow bloggers . My husband actually posted on here!!!! Not once but TWICE! Ok and I think after reading his initial post and making him edit it - I am convinced he flunked written communication in college - either that or he LOVES an inside joke and leaving everyone to figure out what it's supposed to mean! At any rate - I will not complain! He is so excited about doing these little videos that I will not be sad - he's capturing some great memories and putting them together in one spot! So now on one post instead of posting 18 pictures separately he is posting about 30 or more! Whoo Hoo! (Course I wouldn't want to have to spend the time to put the video together either so THANK YOU DEAR!!!)
We had a really nice Christmas and as you can sort of see, we had family and friends over for Pizza on Christmas Eve - we played some games and overall had a blast! Then after everyone left, Scott and I put the house back in order and he brought out all the presents we had hidden in the bedroom and I set the table and got breakfast ready for the next morning. We didn't get done until about midnight and then Scott flopped in bed. I was just about ready to go get ready for bed when I thought - "I need to unwind a little and not have to think". So I called my mom. Now all you moms out there - don't get mad at me!! She is up at that time of night!!!! She delivers newspapers so I knew she'd be out and about and probly needing a little stimuli to keep her awake. I was only planning on talking for a few minutes cuz I knew the next morning was going to be a little crazy, but we ended up talking for TWO hours! The next thing we knew - mom was telling me "well I just pulled in the driveway so I should probably go!" (meaning she was finished for the night which is totally awesome!) Ok - here comes the senitmentalism (is that a word?) - I think that was one of the best Christmas Eve's I've had in a long time - not just because we had fun with friends, but because I got to talk nonsense with my mom for 2 hours with NO interuptions. It was WONDERFUL! And mom - I know you're reading this - that was the best Christmas present you could have given me and I thank you!
Ok - on to the next morning - Grace woke up with about a 103 degree temperature and was not feeling the greatest all day (bummer for her). But overall - we had such a nice day! The kids did really good and enjoyed being able to open their gifts finally! We had a late breakfast/lunch around 11:30 and it held us over until later that evening when we went to Mr. & Mrs. C's for dinner and games. It was so much fun! And of course the kids love going over there! Can you believe though? We didn't get any pictures after about 11:00 that day! Silly us!
Now I'm sitting here - Monday afternoon - this is the third time I've edited this post (because I haven't had time the previous 2 times to finish it!) and my tree is in the front yard, the decorations are in the box waiting to be put up in the attice - there are about 4 loads of laundry sitting on the couch - 2 folded and 2 waiting to be folded, 2 kids screaming "stop it" at each other and about 2 trillion toys scatterd across the living room floor. I think I'm going to start screaming in about 5 seconds so I will slowly breath in...........breath out.........and finish this post with "I truly hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!"
(More pictures to come.........really!!)

After being overjoyed at a post by you I almost fell out of my chair to see that Casey posted a comment!!! LOL Just teasin' Casey!
Your day with laundry and toys everywhere reminds me of a day similar to that when mine were all young and I told my brother, when he stopped to visit during nap time..."Nap time is so that we can love our children again for the rest of the day." =)
Oh, and my tree is down now as well. I love Christmas, but I love when things get back to normal as well. :)
